Fix PC Errors in Minutes
If you have a color tone error, this article will help you. Hue error is a measure of how much the ink deviates from the theoretically ideal process color. The larger the error, the smaller the defined color gamut, which can lead to errors, this is only a property of the toner. The term “bug” is actually a complete misnomer because it’s not a problem, just a property of the ink.

Hue lighting is amazing when it works. However, if your Philips Hue bridge won’t connect, you probably feel like you’re falling back on repetitive silent lights.
Don’t break that light bulb yet! In this article, I’ll show you what to do if you can’t connect to the Hue Bridge, Philips Hue Lighting Unavailable errors, and various other common Hue lighting problems.
Hue Philips Bridge Lighting
Hue Bridge has four blue lights that you will need to troubleshoot Hue Bridge connection issues.
Pay attention to which lights flash (or go off) in the action error message you receive in the app itself, as this will help customers decide which fixes to try.
1. Connect Hue Bridge Directly To All Your Routers
Your Hue Bridge will effectively connect to the Internet as it is not connected directly to your main router. You can’t connect to it through a second router, Go, or adapter Per Powerline. If the Internet indicator is blinking on the best Hue bridge, make sure the fix is connected properly.
If you are using a combo gateway (modem/router, not modem), you will need to install a Hue bridge to the port, even if you have an identified Wi-Fi router. If you got your primary modem from your ISP, it’s most likely a gateway and not a real modem.
2. Update Your Hue Bridge
If all of the Hue Bridge Idea lights are on and the firmware is still showing the “Unable to connect” error message, your firmware may be out of date.
- Open the SETTINGS tab on the bottom menu bar of the Hue app.
- Select Software Update from the symbol list.
- If you see the specific message “Everything when you need to update”, your firmware is fine. Otherwise, select the update and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
In addition to technical fixes, these firmware updates include important security fixes. Therefore, while you are in theHue software extensions, I highly recommend enabling automatic updates to keep your Hue network secure.
3. Restart Hue Bridge
A simple restart can fix a lot of Hue issues, including network connectivity and inaccessible Hue lights. Unlike a reset, this process does not remove most of your configuration settings, so you can quickly and easily repeat the steps below if you run into new problems.
- Remove the wire feeder from the jumper.
- Wait ten seconds.
- Reconnect the power cable.
- Wait for the point where the bridge rises.
After this has been called, you can check if this action solved your connection problems. I always recommend trying this before moving on to more difficult steps.
4. Restart Your Router
Restarting your router can help if your Hue Bridge is not only unable to connect to the Internet, but also to your network. However, this is not the case as you can see problems between the bridge and all yourHue lights that are considered connected via Zigbee and not via Wi-Fi, possibly via Ethernet.
Some routers have a restart option in their web interface. Can your company use it or try the following steps.
- Disconnect the power cable from each router.
- Please wait 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cable.
- Wait a few minutes for the router to start up.
Like restoring Hue Bridge, this process does not erase any configuration settings and is therefore largely safe. However, keep in mind that this skill step will disconnect your entire family from the Internet for about five minutes. So, if you don’t want more problems than the Hue bug, it’s probably best to let your partner know.
5. Your Test Ethernet Cable
Some Hue Bridge network connectivity issues can simply be caused by a bad Ethernet cable between your main bridge and your router. If you have an extra ethernet cable, try replacing it to see if that fixes it.about the problem. You will also test the current ethernet sending on a computer: any ethernet cable that works fine on one device will work on another.
I always recommend keeping an extra ethernet cable nearby for power or testing if needed. You can buy this ethernet cable at a relatively low price, it can save you a lot of time when dealing with network problems.
6. Check Which Network Your Hue Bridge Is On
In order to access all the features of your favorite Hue Bridge, the device (perhaps your own smartphone) on which you use the Hue app must be available on the same network as each bridge.
The easiest way to do this is to go to discovery.meethue.com on the same device you use the Over Hue app on. You will see the ID and IP address of your new bridge. If you only see “[ ]”, your device and best bridge are not in our network. Make sure your device is very securely connected to Wi-Fi and not to a cellular network, and that you are using the same router Wi-Fi network as yours.bridge.Download the software now to speed up your computer.
